Stack the Blocks, Fast!

Have you ever played that arcade game where you have to press the button at the right time to stack a block on top of another?

That game ALWAYS makes me hold my breath haha!

I think sometimes, maybe too often, we can relate to our life like we’re playing that game. The pressures on! We got to get it perfect or right! Hurry! Control where the block lands or perform to get the tallest tower! Be better, fast, more, etc!

What I’m here to remind you today is that you DON’T have to get the “blocks” in your life perfectly lined up and the goal isn’t to stack them as high as you can to perform! Life isn’t a speed race to perfection and more.

The goal is to lay our blocks down, unhurried, create something, play, delight, and see what the Lord will do with it.

So here’s the challenge: Try slowing down this week, experimenting with relating to life more like a kid who just got a new Lego set than a block stacking gamer. Start creating something! Maybe you tear it down, or maybe you build an entire castle in one sitting!

The point is you can breathe easy in knowing that as you lay the blocks down, the Lord will be with you, guiding you!

Warmly,

Kims
